The BlueStreak Connect management team has over 20 years of experience in providing technology solutions to the Public Safety market. We are committed to providing cost-effective solutions that assist Law Enforcement in having the information they require to insure the safety of the officers and to protect the public. Our experience has shown that although many large departments have the resources to support major software implementations and the subsequent maintenance of those systems, many small and medium sized departments do not.  As we continue to build the company, we will stay focused on providing solutions that are affordable for all sized departments, but are accessible to small and medium jurisdictions.

The Team

Steve Rodgers - Chief Executive Officer

Steve has over 15 years experience in the Information Technology arena. Prior to founding BlueStreak Connect, Steve founded and served as Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships of Efficient Forms, a proven technology leader in the business process management and form automation markets. While at Efficient Forms, Steve provided direction to the Efficient Forms team by focusing on increasing indirect  revenue by building VAR and other strategic partnerships in various  industries including Human Resources, Pharmaceutical, Telecommunications, Tax Compliance, as well as Real Estate.  Prior to Efficient forms, Steve developed and launched software and information service products for Tax, Accounting, Legal and business professionals for CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business. As the Product Manager for State and Local tax and accounting products, Steve was instrumental in the development and launch of esalestax.com, a software and information based product suite geared toward the tax and accounting professions. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and a Juris Doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, Illinois.

Tom Ballance - EVP Sales and Marketing

Tom has sales, marketing and general management experience spanning the information technology and telecommunications spectrum at such organizations as IBM, MCI and AccessData Corp.  In 17 years at MCI Telecommunications, Tom held leadership responsibilities from small business sales through national and global account sales and support.  His management roles have ranged from direct sales management to regional and national vice president and general management positions with responsibility for $700 Million in installed revenues and more than 700 sales, service and support employees.  Tom’s management roles have included all aspects of sales and sales management, new product launches, channel sales development and organizational turnarounds.  His range of technology disciplines includes telecommunications, IT hardware and software, wireless ISP, managed services, digital forensics and electronically stored data compliance.  Tom graduated from the University of Illinois majoring in physics and mathematics.

Amanda Malone - Client Services Manager

Ms. Malone has over 20 years of experience in the information technology industry. Her expertise lies primarily in creating client service technology organizations to ensure smooth delivery of technology products and services to clients.  Prior to starting with BlueStreak Connect, she was President of Parallel Alliances, which focused on creating and modifying business processes to ensure scalability, reduce redundancies and enhance customer experience. She has also worked as a Consultant for the KLA Group, where she developed strategic selling programs for Global 1000 companies and managed the implementation of these systems. As Director of Client Services and Professional Services, Ms. Malone successfully started and managed client service organizations for both TeamShare (a web-based workflow management company) and Research Systems (a scientific data analysis and imaging company).  In both situations, Amanda created new revenue streams in the way of implementation, consulting and training services for Global 1000 companies, increasing both organizations overall revenue by 35 to 40% within a two year period.  In addition, she served as Lead Sales Engineer and Software Developer at IBM and Martin Marietta Aerospace. Ms. Malone holds a BS from University of Colorado at Boulder in Mathematics and Computer Science.
